Insert the screwdriver at the bottom to lift the rollers from the track. Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw. To remove the screen door use a flathead screwdriver. On the bottom edge of the door you ll notice a cap.

Next you ll need to remove the adjustment screws by accessing them on the side panels at the bottom of the door. Remove the sliding glass door at the bottom of the track you ll see a slight indent that is intended for easy removal. To remove the door pull it toward you. Begin by grasping the door closest to you.

The door guide is usually located in the center of the doors. If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step. Sliding glass doors are a popular feature found in most homes. Lift up to disengage the rollers from the top track and pull the door out.

The top of the door will still be inserted into the top track so lower the door until the top door edge clears the upper track. Open the door and ask your helper to slightly lift the screen door. Step 3 remove the glass stationary door have someone help you lift the door then pull the bottom of the door outward toward you and out of the lower track. Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go.
